Now we arrive to the end... that turns out to be a new beginning.

"Kara! James!" Logan shouted, as the portals back to their home worlds started pulling the three apart. The portal to Kara's home world was trying to pull her in, while both portals were trying to keep James away.

Logan grabbed onto Kara's hand and Jame's hand when he was pulled from his mother's arms.

"DADA, MOMMA!!" James cried, not liking the feeling he was feeling.

"LOGAN!!" Kara shouted when she was getting dragged towards her world's portal..Though suddenly James was taken out of her arms, "NO! JAMES!!!" She grabbed onto Logan's hand as she tried to grab James, feeling her heart beating faster and faster. Though when Logan grabbed their son's hand, she felt tad bit better.

Though the feeling went away when she was suddenly being pulled away some more, "N-no!" She screamed as she held onto Logan's hand. But she gasped when she was tugged back again, her hand desperately trying to keep it's hold onto Logan's, "Logan!"

"DAMNIT!" Logan shouted, trying to keep a hold of both his son and his wife.

It wasn't supposed to happen this way! He was supposed to take them both back to his world, they agreed!

Logan pulled James closer to him, completely having his arm around the boy, as he tried to pull Kara towards him more.

"YOU'RE NOT TAKING THEM AWAY FROM ME!" He shouted to the unknown forces at hand that was trying to tear his family apart.

Kara smiled when she saw Logan was able to get James fully in his arms. Though she was suddenly pulled from Logan's hand, "LOGAN!" She screamed as she was being pulled back fast. She grabbed onto a pole next to her, hugging it, trying not to be pulled from it, "I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK THERE! I WANT TO BE WITH MY HUSBAND! PLEASE LET ME GO, LET ME GO WITH HIM! I HAVE A CHILD WITH HIM, LOGAAAN!" She started to cry, not wanting to be separated.

Logan brought his body weight down and slammed his claws into the ground.

"James, can you hold on tight to me, buddy?" Logan asked his son, knowing he would need both hands to get to his wife.

James wrapped his arms around his father's neck and held on tight as Logan slammed his other hand into the ground.

Slowly, but surely, Logan started making his way to Kara, doing his best to fight the force. He eventually grabbed the pole she was holding onto and went and grabbed her from around the waist.

"Make sure you hold on tight and James doesn't fall off!" Logan shouted, as he got ready to make his way back to his portal.

Kara looked up at Logan when he had came to her. She wrapped her arms him and James tight, but to where it wouldn't hurt them. She buried her face into Logan's shoulder, "I won't let either of you go!" Kara yelled softly.

James whimpered, but it went unheard in the roaring sound of the wind trying to force them into different directions.

Logan lowered himself back to the ground, feeling the pressure from the other directions pulling on his wife and son, while his own portal was tugging on him. He could vaguely hear the shouts of Kitty, Rogue, Laura, and the others from his world that had already made it through the portal, urging him on.

Logan stabbed his claws into the ground and started moving him and his family to his portal. The pressure was strong then it was before from the direction of Kara's portal and from where the portals were trying to reject James.

Kara held her son and her husband. She was holding tightly to them. She then helped a little, pushing towards Logan's portal, helping him. Suddenly, she felt less pressure from James, almost making him fall. Though she was able to keep him in her arms and his father's.

James felt the pressure on his disappear and almost fell when his mother held on to him. He held tight to both of his parents, knowing they were both still struggling.

Logan kept moving forward, grateful for the help from Kara and from the pressure disappearing from James. Logan was at the entrance of the portal and could feel it trying to pull him in.

He stood up, still holding onto his wife and child, before taking a step inside the portal.

Kara started to help even more. And suddenly she was falling through the portal, holding James close to her. His head buried in her chest.

James clinged to his mother and felt his father keep holding onto him and her.

Logan held on to his family tightly as they fell, he could still fell the pull on Kara, but it was fading fast.

Kara gasped when she suddenly felt the pressure loosen from her. She held onto James as she could feel them starting to fall fast.

Logan looked up, the flashing lights of the portal making it hard to see. After a moment, he saw the exist and could hear their friends shouts getting louder.

He rolled his body to where he would be the one to hit the ground when they crash landed.

"Brace yourselves!" He shouted, as the portal opening came closer.

Kara held onto James closer, "Keep your hold on me sweetie!" She said to James, before after a bit they landed on the ground. She groaned as she felt Logan's metal skeleton.

James just whimpered in response as he felt the landing.

Logan grunted and groaned as he skidded across the grass. When he stopped, he breathed heavily, before opening his eyes to seeing their friends surrounding them.

"Are yall awright?" Rogue asked, kneeling down beside them.

"Like, Mr. Logan! Kara! Is James okay? He-he did make it, right?" Kitty asked, hoping their child made it through as well.

Kara could feel James shaking after they stopped, "It's alright..sweetie..it's alright now." She spoke softly, before looking at Rogue and Kitty, nodding, "He's fine, perfectly fine..he is just shaken up." She said as she smiled softly, "Logan..are you alright?"

"Yeah.." Logan said, wincing. "I'll be fine in a few moments." He said, slowly sitting up.

"How's my brave boy?" He asked, softly, looking down at James.

James looked up at his parents with tears in his eyes. He grabbed his father's shirt, wanting both of his parents to hold him.

Logan wrapped his arms around Kara and James, holding them close. "Welcome to your new home, you two..."

Kara felt her heart drop seeing at how he looked at them, holding him closer when Logan held both of them. Her eyes looked up as she froze, seeing how this place looked somewhat familiar, but felt more peaceful. She smiled softly, "It's beautiful..and similar..but it's..amazing.." She said breathlessly.

"Oh my god, like thank god you three are like alright! We thought you two were like..not gonna make it! Had us worried!" Kitty exclaimed.

"Yeah, what Kitty said, but without all the 'like's." Rogue said, ignoring the glare she got from Kitty.

"Good to see you three made it." Remy said, shuffling his cards with a smile. "It would have been tragic if you didn't make it, no?"

Kara looked up at all of them as she smiled, "There was no way..we weren't going to make it." She said as she turned to look at Logan. She started to rub James's back.

Kitty put her hand on James's back, "It's okay.." Though she jumped back when James just jumped away and kept snuggling into her shirt, "I..I'm sorry.."

"He's just in shock, Kara, he will be fine in just a little while."

Logan looked up at the voice and saw Charles Xavier wheeling his way over to them.

"Chuck? You're okay?" Logan asked, looking at the man almost if he has seen a ghost.

"Yes, I am, Logan. When I was "killed" I was merely brought back here. No actually death involved, just was in a coma for three days." Charles explained, when he got to them.

Logan helped Kara stand up as they both held onto James. "Good to see you well then, Chuck."

"And you as well, Logan, along with your wife and son; it is a pleasure." Charles said, holding his hand for Kara to shake.

Kara looked up at Charles, knowing who he was due to stories from Logan..and seeing him in that other world. She smiled softly, shaking his hand, "It's nice to finally meet you." She said as she smiled. Kara petted James head, "How are you feeling?"

"Same." Charles said, smiling.

James laid in her arms, with his head on her shoulder. He glanced over at the bald man in the chair, before looking away.

"I think he needs a nap..." Logan rubbing James' back.

"Will you three be staying in Logan's room? Also, do you plan on finding a house for yourself, because we do have plenty of room, if you don't want to try and hunt down a place." Charles offered, wanting Logan and his family to be comfortable.

Kara looked at James, feeling bad he had to go through that. She could feel the tears starting to well up in her eyes, and knew Logan could see her face change as she held onto her son. She then looked at Charles, "We..we were thinking of staying with you all..until..we could find a place." Kara explained as she was trying to keep herself from crying for her son.

Logan rubbed Kara's back, seeing how she was upset.

"Right, well, you're always welcome. Now, why don't we get you three home?" Charles said, kindly, seeing at how upset Kara was over James.

Logan nodded. "Sounds like a plan." He said, softly.
